X-Men Episode #7: Couch-Men

Doesn't Yui have a nice living room? It's a good thing too, since we spend like five hours there.

Summary: The X-Men spend an awfully long time sitting on the couch chatting, Sasaki Yui and Prof. X have one of the most patently ridiculous conversations I’ve ever seen in my life, and Wolverine takes a page out of Storm’s book and forgets what his powers do. I would say things are deteriorating fast, but they’ve kind of been deteriorating at a real steady rate all along, honestly.

X-Men Episode #1: Instant X-Men, Just Add Angst

A brooding-as-usual Cyclops: we could have done without this.

Summary: I can’t decide if the problem is that these really aren’t the characters I know, or if it’s just oddly written for a first episode, but something is definitely off with this anime adaptation of my favorite superheroes; so far, Beast is the only redeeming feature.

I don’t know about this most recent X-Men adaptation, I just don’t know- is it boring to me because I’ve been an X-Men fan for a long time, and I’ve seen all of this already? Or is it just boring because it’s boring?

FFIV: The Uncomfortable Truth

I did this little FFIV strip because I was experimenting with something, which is why it looks a little rough around the edges. Kind of a neat idea though, just taking ideas from random FFs and turning them into one-page strips….next time though, COLOR.

Loved the designs in FFVI DS, by the way- well, except for Rosa; I have no clue what happened there.
